APHE is excited to be able to offer assistance from the Nathania Gartman scholarship fund to help members in covering the costs of conference registration, as well as assistance with travel and lodging. 

The deadline for scholarship applications is February 14th. Scholarship award recipients will be notified by February 21st. If applying for a scholarship, please wait to register until you receive notification that includes scholarship code.  

• APHE Members: Any current APHE member is eligible to apply for a scholarship.
• Non-Members: Non-members without organizational funding to attend the Humane Education Conference and who are working to build their programming may apply for a non-member scholarship. This scholarship will also include a one-year APHE membership.
• Previous Recipients: Scholarship recipients from the previous year are ineligible to apply, unless they have been selected as a speaker or learning lab facilitator for the upcoming conference.
• Non-Member Presenters: Non-member presenters may be eligible for a scholarship at the discretion of the APHE Board of Directors.
• One Scholarship Per Organization: Scholarships are limited to one recipient per organization, though the Board may waive this restriction if necessary.
