Coffee and Connect November 3rd : Sharing is Caring

(Virtual Roundtables)

During this year’s national conference, we hosted our first ever virtual happy hour. After receiving so much positive feedback, we’ve decided to offer another opportunity for our members to network with other professionals in the field.

Introducing November’s Coffee and Connect: Sharing Is Caring! This session will consist of a series of 3 virtual roundtables that will allow attendees to both share resources with others, as well as listen and learn! Discussion topics will include the basics like lessons, games, and crafts; in addition to deeper conversations about things such as research in the field, fundraising tactics, language choices, and more!

To align with the theme of sharing, this session will be available to both members and non-members FREE of charge! There are a limited number of spots available though, so share with your friends and register now.

We can’t wait to see you!

APHE Community Service and Service Learning Manual

What is the difference between Community Service and Service Learning? Why should I involve myself and my agency in the service process? Now that I know why, how can I get involved? What kinds of practical considerations should I be aware of if youth are engaging in service at my facility? If you need answers to these questions and more, the APHE board put together the perfect resource for you—the Community Service and Service Learning Manual: A humane educator’s guide to everything you wanted to know.
