Join APHE for three days of professional networking and presentations that will enhance your humane education program. This is THE national conference for humane educators!
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- 3 days of presentations, workshops, panels and roundtables
- networking mixer,

- all meals during the conference.
Cost
- Member only EARLY BIRD RATE - $250 (deadline Jan. 30)
- Members regular rate - $275
- Non-members $375 (Become a member here for $50!)
- Student rate - $175 (must provide information about college and facility advisor to conference@aphe.org to receive discount code for registration).
**Conference registration is open through April 4, 2024.**
LOCATION: The conference and conference mixer will be taking place at the Aloft Buffalo Downtown. Click here for hotel information.
MEALS: The following meals are included with conference registration:
Day 1 (April 24): Lunch for pre-conference attendees; mixer will include light appetizers
Day 2 (April 25): Breakfast, lunch, & dinner*
Day 3 (April 26): Breakfast
*APHE dinner on April 25 (location TBA) is provided for attendees. If you would like to bring a guest(s), additional tickets are $50 each.
PHOTOS & FILMING: For promotional purposes, photos and video recordings will be taken during the conference. Participants who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organizers in writing prior to event.
EXCURSION: An optional excursion to the SPCA Serving Erie County is set for Friday, April 26. The time for the excursion is tentatively set for 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. The excursion will feature a behind-the-scenes tour of the SPCA Serving Erie County, led by their education team, as well as a meeting with one of their ambassador animals. T-SHIRTS: Our 2024 conference T-shirts will be available for pre-order here! Shirts are $17 for members and $20 for non-members. T-shirts must be picked up in person at the conference. Shipping is unavailable at this time.

The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement
APHE is an approved provider of content which enhances professional competence and aligns with the CAWA Exam specifications.
National Animal Care & Control Association (NACA)
This conference has been approved for Continuing Education Units by NACA. National certificate holders can submit for credit consistent with the NACA CEU policy.
CANCELLATION/ TRANSFER POLICY
More than sixty days prior to the start of the conference: A full refund minus a $35 processing fee.
Less than sixty days prior to the conference: Registration fees are final and non-refundable.
Transfers: Conference registration can be transferred to another person provided they qualify for the same conference rate (i.e.: If a membership rate was given, then registration can only be transferred to another member).
