spcaLA is seeking a Director of Violence Prevention Humane Education. This position will be responsible for:

• Leading a team working to break interpersonal and systemic cycles of violence;
• Supporting and expanding the growing understanding of the positive and transformative impact that human-animal interactions have on system-involved youth;
• Offering and managing violence intervention and support services for adults and families impacted by domestic violence, housing disparities and those seeking treatment.
• Engaging youth and children in animal welfare education and social-emotional learning, while encouraging youth advocacy for animals, others, and themselves.
