Excursion to Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center
A pre-conference opportunity for attendees and their guests of the APHE National Humane Education Conference
Wednesday, April 22, 2015 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Southwest Wildlife rescues native wildlife that have lost their homes to development, or are found injured, orphaned, or abandoned. When possible, the animals in their care are rehabilitated and released back into the wild. Those animals that can not survive in the wild can live out their lives at the accredited sanctuary. Southwest Wildlife is also an official holding facility for the Mexican gray wolf recovery program, a critically endangered species.
The Excursion includes transportation, boxed lunch and a guided tour of the facility. The Excursion is limited to 35 participants.
Excursion Cost: $50 per person
