Everything You Want to Know
About Adoption…Workshop
August 24, 2012
10:AM-3:PM

Have you discovered a particular type of event, hook, image, poster, flyer, or phrase to increase the adoption of homeless companion animals ?

Please, share your ideas, join this forum.

We are all, individuals and organizations alike, attempting to make a dent in the huge numbers of displaced companion animals.

Do not miss this opportunity to share our knowledge and to benefit from each other’s experiences.

The situation is still challenging for companion animals, as we are all aware, spaying and neutering and adopting is definitely the answer, again, something we all know. However, we need to get together and share what works…and what doesn’t. Cats are still the number one abandoned animal in the US, let’s learn from each other on August 24th.  Still looking for program participants to tell how they have increased adoption success rates including tips on home checks, contracts, screening and advertising, PSA. or event ideas.

So far, the Greater Miami Humane Society, Broward Humane Society, Dogs and Cats Forever, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, Urban Tails, Professional photographer/ Tina Valant, Animal Aid and Adoption, Spay/Neuter Alliance of the Treasure Coast, Hobe Sound Animal Protection League, Humane Society of St Lucie County, Smitten with Kittens and Caring Fields Animal Sanctuary are committed to participate, please, contact Susan Hargreaves to participate in this program and add your name to the above list.

Contest for the best poster or ad idea for adoption.

All companion animal rescuers are welcome.

The Broward Humane Society have increased their adoption rate to 10,000 adoptions each year, find out how they do it and hear from many others on August 24 at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center classroom in Juno Beach.. 14200 U.S. Highway One, Juno Beach FL 33408 from 10-3 PM
