Led by Zoe Weil, president of the Institute for Humane Education, and humane educator Kim Korona from HEART, this workshop explores the power of education to provide students with the knowledge, tools, and motivation to become enthusiastic choicemakers and changemakers for a more just, healthy, and humane world. Teaching for the 21st Century offers teachers an opportunity to reflect upon their role in creating positive change and to learn innovative and engaging activities and approaches to bring global ethical issues into their classrooms, no matter what subjects they teach.
